Certifications are easy to list and hard to interpret. Here’s what each of EGC’s six active certifications actually verifies, and why it should matter to a property owner evaluating a facility management vendor.
ISO 9001:2015 — Quality Management
Audits whether we have a documented, repeatable quality system — not whether any individual job goes well, but whether our processes are built to catch problems before they become recurring ones.
ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health & Safety
Covers how we manage safety risk for our own staff on your site — equipment handling, chemical safety, incident reporting. This is the certification that matters most if your property has any industrial or high-traffic risk profile.
ISO 14001:2015 — Environmental Management
Audits how we handle waste, chemical disposal, and environmental impact across housekeeping and pest control — relevant for any property with sustainability reporting obligations.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — Information Security Management
Less obvious for a facility management vendor, but relevant: our staff have physical access to your premises and sometimes your systems. This certifies how we control and audit that access.
ISO 18788:2015 — Private Security Operations
A management-systems standard specific to security operations — relevant wherever our scope includes security guard coordination.
SA 8000:2014 — Social Accountability
Audits labor practices across our own workforce — fair wages, working hours, no forced or child labor. This is the certification that speaks most directly to how we treat the people we employ on your site.
We’re also registered under UDYAM-WB-10-0000551 (MSME, Govt. of West Bengal). Certificates are available on request, or can be viewed directly on our About Us page.
